JailBot

There are rumors running around the internet about Battle.net v2.0, if these rumors are true, this would make JailBot out of date before it's even released.

Even though these are rumors, I am forced to investigate it, and keep updated on it. So far 2.0 will be released either when Starcraft II or Diablo III is released, when 2.0 is released, all of Blizzard's Battle.net-compatible games will be forced to update, at this time it would make 1.0 unusable, even to bots.

My theory is, because bots can avoid updating, and say that they are always up to date, why can't bots just go onto 1.0 without using 2.0? Well, while I thought about this more harder, I figured that 1.0 would be modified not to allow any new versions, even if it was an up-to-date version.

I assume 2.0 will be binary-based, I will be SHOCKED if it's not, but if it is binary-based, I would also assume that the packets have been rearranged and/or the packet header has been changed.

It makes since for 2.0 to be real, because of the way Blizzard has been saying stuff related to Battle.net, such as the fact that Battle.net will have a makeover, in no way can Battle.net have a makeover without starting a new version/generation of Battle.net, even though it is possible, I doubt they'll stick with 1.0, because if they do, then it'll limit them to only a few improvements, not the improvements that they say they have been planning.
